NuDe è “Nu Design”: non solo un “nuovo design” ma un design di “adesso”, contemporaneo. Dal lavoro di NuDe è nata Greenlantern, primo reale oggetto di design concepito e realizzato in legno liquido.
Con la direzione creativa ed il design di Romolo Stanco, la competenza scientifica di Politec Valtellina e la supervisione scientifica di Stefano Besseghini NuDe porta al pubblico gli oggetti di domani creando cortocircuiti tra sperimentazione, ricerca e design.
Nuove forme e nuove funzioni per una nuova sensibilità: quella di una ricerca in cui non è la meta a stupire, ma il viaggio, unico e incredibile, intrapreso per raggiungerla.
GreenLantern è il primo oggetto di design al mondo ideato, concepito, disegnato sviluppato “e” realizzato in legno liquido: nato da un’idea di Romolo Stanco è il risultato dell’orgoglio e delle competenze di aziende del territorio Valtellinese
solitamente estraneo al “mondo” design. , GreenLantern è un vaso ed una lampada intrinsecamente legati da una relazione inscindibile. Le due funzioni sono collegate da un condotto organico cavo, una sorta di “vaso”
(nel senso di contenitore per una pianta e di vaso sanguigno) che mette in relazione l’energia della pianta e quella della luce.
Per queste motivazioni questo “condotto” è realizzato con un materiale organico e disegnato con una forma plastica ed ugualmente organica, chiamato LEGNO LIQUIDO:
un biopolimero ricavato da una trasformazione sperimentale dei sottoprodotti delle lavorazioni del legno.
Saranno presentate anche alcune versioni "uniche" di GreenLantern.
Dai primi pezzi stampo prototipo a test unici e irripetibili fino all’interpretazione di alcuni artisti di caratura internazionale da Mr. Wany a V3rbo, da Emiliano “Stand” Cataldo a Diamond
con il coordinamento artistico di Valerio Ciampicacigli e la supervisione creativa di Romolo Stanco che sarà anche autore di uno dei pezzi unici esposti nella mostra.

NuDe is “Nu Design”: not only “new design” but also “now” design, contemporary. GreenLantern is a product of the work of NuDe, and is the first real design object in liquid wood. With the creative management and design of Romolo Stanco,
the scientific knowledge of Politec Valtellina and Stefano Besseghini, NuDe brings the public the objects of tomorrow, creating a short-circuit between experimentation, research and design. New forms and new functions for a new sensitivity:
that of research in which it is not the outcome that is amazing, but the unique, incredible voyage undertaken to achieve it.
GreenLantern is the first design object in the world conceived, imagined, developed and made of liquid wood:
Thought and designed by Romolo Stanco it is a product that proudly celebrates the skill of companies in the Valtellina area that have never had anything to do with the world of design., GreenLantern is a flowerpot and a lamp, intrinsically linked in an inseparable relationship.
The two functions are connected by an organic conduit, a sort of “vessel” (in the dual sense of a vessel holding a plant and a blood vessel) that establishes the relationship between the plant’s energy and that of the light.
The Wood of the future? It’s liquid., For all these reasons, this “vessel” has to be made of an organic material and designed with an equally organic plastic shape.
The material is called LIQUID WOOD and it is an organic polymer created through a special process using wood by-products.
They will also present some unique versions of GreenLantern.
From the first prototype to test the mold pieces unique and unrepeatable up to the interpretation of some artists of international level (by Mr. Wany, V3rbo, Emiliano "Stand" Cataldo, Diamond)
with the artistic coordination Valerio Ciampicacigli and the creative supervision Romolo Stanco that is also the author of one of the "numbered" pieces in the exhibit.
